This project is being implemented by a ministerial committee established by the Cabinet at the end of 2021. The committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ministry of Labor, and the National Technical Vocational Education and Training Commission (NTC). The committee will review the zero draft of the Palestinian National Qualifications Framework from 2013, the first draft document of the Palestinian qualifications system is approved. The framework will serve as the primary tool for determining professional levels, comparing qualifications, and their regional and international recognition and regulating the labor market. The committee is working closely in coordination with the National Commission in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) and the European Training Foundation (ETF). The results of the National Qualifications Survey and the review of the draft copy of the National Qualifications Framework document were discussed. With the participation of The Ministry of higher education/technical colleges and universities, vocational training centers/vocational secondary schools, the private sector - the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the General Union of Palestinian Industries, the private sector - professional unions.
