The President of the National TVET Commission, Dr. Ziad Jweiles, received today, Thursday, the Deputy Head of Development Cooperation at the German Representative Office in Palestine, Ms. Anna Heitzgrad, to discuss the continuation of cooperation between the two sides to develop the TVET sector.

Dr. Jweiles emphasized that the Commission has succeeded in achieving many achievements in the vocational and technical education sector, in order to achieve sustainable development goals, reduce high unemployment rates, and increase employment rates, especially among university graduates.

For her part, Ms. Heitzgrad praised the achievements of the Commission, confirming the continuation of German-Palestinian cooperation in developing the TVET sector for its important role in combating unemployment, providing job opportunities, and serving Palestinian youth.
