Dr. Ziad Jweiles, the head of the Commission, affirmed that the Commission, as the official umbrella for the vocational and technical education and training sector in the country, is committed to developing national strategic plans to enhance the skills of young men and women and promote entrepreneurship and investment at the core of its priorities.

These affirmations came during a speech by Dr. Jweiles at a speech event and skills competition organized by Palestine Polytechnic University and UNESCO under the sponsorship of the Commission.

Dr. Jweiles stated, "The Commission also seeks to build bridges of communication between universities, technical and vocational institutions, and the private sector, aiming to meet the growing needs of the Palestinian labor market and provide job opportunities for youth."

In conclusion, he thanked the management of Palestine Polytechnic University and UNESCO for organizing an event rich in activities and praised its great success.
